Corsa can deliver notifications to your team across three channels: in-app, email, and Slack. Platform owners set the default channel configuration for the entire platform, and individual users can override those defaults in their own settings.

Notification channels

In-app

In-app notifications appear directly inside the Corsa platform. This channel is always active — it cannot be disabled and requires no configuration.

Email

Email notifications are sent to each user’s registered email address. Email delivery is available by default without any additional setup. Platform owners can enable or disable email as the platform default. Users can then override that default for their own account.

Slack

Slack notifications post messages to a connected Slack workspace. This channel requires a configured Slack integration before it can be enabled. Once the Slack integration is active, platform owners can set Slack as the platform default, and users can enable or disable Slack in their own settings.

Platform default configuration

Platform owners can set the default notification channels for all users from the Platform Configurations page.
  1. Go to Settings → Platform Configurations.
  2. Under Notification Channels, enable or disable Email and Slack as platform defaults.
  3. Click Save.
The settings you choose here apply to every user who has not overridden their personal preferences.
The in-app channel is always enabled and does not appear in the platform configuration options.

Per-user overrides

Each user can override the platform default notification settings from their personal settings page.
  1. Click your avatar or profile menu in the top-right corner.
  2. Go to Settings → Notifications.
  3. Toggle Email and Slack on or off according to your preference.
  4. Click Save.
User-level settings take precedence over the platform default. A user who disables email notifications will not receive emails even if email is enabled at the platform level — and vice versa.
Users who want fewer interruptions can disable email and Slack and rely on in-app notifications, which are always delivered.

Slack integration requirement

The Slack channel is only available when a Slack integration is configured for your platform. If the Slack integration is not set up, the Slack option does not appear in either the platform configuration or user settings. See Slack integration for setup instructions. Once the integration is active, platform owners and users can enable Slack as a notification channel.
